Texas-born and raised Joshua Booker can’t remember a time when he didn’t aspire to be a lawyer. From a young age, he had a passion for justice, and being a Christian man, he loves helping the right side of the law prevail. Joshua has been a licensed lawyer since 2012, opening his own law practice shortly thereafter. His resume houses a myriad of experiences, from working for other attorneys and law firms to government agencies and taxing authorities. While practicing, Joshua has been exposed to a large range of industries in tax and legal roles, serving as general counsel and in-house legal counsel to multi-sized corporations across the vast state of Texas.

Joshua is extremely self-motivated and marches to the beat of his own drum. While he admires and respects attorneys from the past, he loves coming up with his own formula by researching his specific case files. Most recently, as an associate attorney at a mid-sized national firm in Houston, Texas, Joshua actively handled a litigation caseload of 250 files with varying priorities and zealously represented his clients in and out of the courtroom. Josh primarily works on consumer finance cases, including bankruptcy and tax representation.

The father of twin six-year-olds, Joshua, is busy in and out of the office! He loves spending time with his kids, doing different activities, and reading a good John Grisham novel. If he weren’t a practicing lawyer, he’d love to follow his passion for writing and would try his hand at composing some great courtroom thrillers!

At the root of it all, Joshua loves helping people. That urge to help others, in tandem with his passion for research and learning, makes him a driven and successful lawyer. He is always willing to take on new clients and challenges, seeking to always go the extra mile. Past clients would describe him as service-minded, focused, ethical, and honest.
